General terms

1. Parties and service provider

These general terms apply between you (the Client) and Roble Jama Juridik (the Provider). The Provider offers legal advice and representation within social welfare law, employment law and migration law.

2. Scope of the service

The Provider offers:

  • A free initial assessment of your case (no commitment)
  • Legal advice by phone, Teams, Zoom, email or in person
  • Written statements and appeals
  • Representation before public authorities and the Administrative Court

Limitation: The Provider is a legal counsel (jurist), not a member of the Swedish Bar Association, and may not perform work reserved by law for advokater (for example acting as bankruptcy administrator).

3. Fees and payment

  • The initial assessment is free of charge.
  • The guide hourly rate is stated on this website. A written quote is provided before any work begins.
  • LVU cases where a public counsel is appointed are free of charge for the Client; the state pays.
  • With legal expenses cover in your home insurance, up to 80% of the cost may be covered; the Provider helps with the application.
  • With state legal aid, part of the cost may be covered; the Provider helps with the application.
  • Payment is made via Swish, card or invoice after the work has been carried out.
  • Late payments accrue interest under the Swedish Interest Act.

4. The Client's obligations

  • Provide correct and complete information about the case.
  • Provide relevant documents within a reasonable time.
  • Inform the Provider of any changes that may affect the case.
  • Not use the Provider's advice for unlawful purposes.

5. Liability and limitation of liability

The Provider performs the engagement with the care that can be expected of a professional in the field. The Provider's liability for damages is limited to the fee for the individual engagement, unless intent or gross negligence can be shown. The Provider is not liable for consequences of incomplete information from the Client or for the outcome of decisions by authorities or courts.

6. Confidentiality

All information you share with the Provider is treated confidentially. Information is only shared with a counterparty, authority or court where required to carry out the engagement and with your approval, or where required by law.

7. Cancellation and termination

The Client may end the engagement at any time. Work performed up to that point is invoiced at the agreed hourly rate. The Provider may end the engagement if the Client provides misleading information, acts unlawfully or if mutual trust cannot be maintained.

8. Complaints and dispute resolution

If you are dissatisfied with the service, first contact roble@roblejama.se and we will try to resolve the matter.

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, consumers may turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), arn.se. ARN's decisions are recommendations and not binding. Disputes may also be tried by a general court.

9. Governing law

Swedish law applies. Disputes shall be settled by a Swedish court with Stockholm District Court as the first instance, unless mandatory consumer legislation provides otherwise.

10. Changes

These terms may be updated. The version that applies to your engagement is the one published when the engagement agreement was entered into.

11. Language

This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy between the language versions, the Swedish version prevails.
