Dismissed? Discriminated against? You have rights

Employers must follow strict rules when dismissing staff. If they don't, you may be entitled to damages. I review your situation and pursue your case: from negotiation to court.

The law is on the employee's side

Swedish employment law gives employees strong protection. The Employment Protection Act (LAS) requires objective grounds for every dismissal: either redundancy or personal reasons. The employer must also have exhausted all redeployment options before dismissal.

Despite this, wrongful dismissals happen regularly. Sometimes out of ignorance, sometimes deliberately. Either way, you have the right to challenge the decision and have it reviewed.

I work daily with LAS, the Employment (Co-Determination in the Workplace) Act (MBL), the Discrimination Act and the Work Environment Act (AML).

I can help you with

  • Review of dismissals and summary dismissals
  • Negotiation with your employer
  • Damages claims for wrongful dismissal
  • Discrimination and victimisation at work
  • Redeployment reviews
  • Wage claims and holiday pay
  • Support in union negotiations
